Andrew Sweeney is a writer and journalist, specializing in business and medical reporting. He received is MA Hons undergraduate degree from the University of Glasgow in Central & Eastern European Studies while also attending the Charles University in Prague. He subsequently received an MSJ from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism.

Originally from Glasgow, Scotland, Andrew speaks Russian, French and Czech and is currently learning Ukrainian. A committed traveler, he divides his time between Kyiv in Ukraine and Prague in the Czech Republic.
